Fun No-Prep Birthday Party Idea

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Chuck E. Cheese’s. The opinions and text are all mine.

I have a confession to make.

I was a “Pinterest birthday mom” when my first born was a baby. For the first few of her birthdays I spent hours (maybe days) and hundreds (maybe thousands) of dollars to throw a birthday party that was forgotten the minute everyone had left.

It took me quite a few years to realize that kids didn’t really care about my handmade signs and all the other stuff that it mattered only to me.

So when my oldest was turning 8 I finally converted into a no prep-kind-birthday mom.

No stress.

No prep.

No 100 errands to run prior the birthday party.

No more thinking how to fit all these balloons, 2 story cake and all the decorations in a car all at once so you don’t have to make numerous runs back home.

Most importantly, me and my husband can also celebrate by having someone else take care of the host role. It’s like a dream come true.

My birthday party planning started 2 weeks prior the party and it took me 5 minutes. Literally.

All I did was went online to Chuck E Cheese’s, picked a party package and a theme for the party. I even managed to send out customized online invitations to all the guests.

We chose Eat More Play More Birthday Package which included:

  • 10 points/tokens more than Super Star (55 points/tokens in most locations)
  • 3 slices of pizza and drinks for each child.
  • 2 hours reserved table space
  • Ticket Blaster experience with a chance to catch the Golden Ticket.
  • Dedicated party host

My planning was done. All we needed to do was to show up at the party.

Fun Fact 1. If you can reserve a VIP party you can get the entire party area to your self even before the restaurant opens up (only on Saturday or Sunday).

Fun Fact 2. If you haven’t been at Chuck E. Cheese’s for a while you will be surprised with NEW selection of cakes, ice cream, Dippin’ dots and Giant Warm Cookies. Also the goodie bags are bigger and have more toys.

The best part about this party was when the birthday boy ran to us numerous times throughout the party and whispered: “It’s best birthday party ever!”

If you want to have “the best birthday party ever” with no stress visit Chuck E. Cheese’s and their Facebook page, Twitter or Instagram to get more information.
