Are we eating Grilled Cheese sandwich again, mom?
If you have heard this once or twice (or ten) times, I have something exciting for you that might just take you and your kids to a whole new world of grilled cheese sandwiches.
Listen up, kids! We are going gourmet style with grilled cheese recipes.
We were on the mission to make at least 10 different sandwiches that kids would love. We set couple of requirements: there had to be cheese in every sandwich (it's grilled cheese, after all) and one or two more ingredients that we could find in the house. So Gourmet but not Fancy was what we were going for.

We invited some friends, made some tea and called it a Grilled Cheese testing party.

We made 16 different grilled cheese sandwiches, but very serious judges (with greasy little hands) put a verdict on 10 winners.
We are sharing 10 Gourmet Grilled Cheese Recipes that kids approve and love. All the ingredients used are simple and most likely you already have them in your pantry or fridge. They need minimal prep work and add some extra nutritional value to a regular grilled cheese sandwich.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for just a regular grilled cheese, but sometimes it's so great to change things up a little and make a boring thing not boring anymore.
Like I mentioned above these are grilled cheese recipes kids loved and approved. Some sandwiches they liked more then others, some they said they would eat every day.
I was happy too, by (not so secretly) squeezing extra nutrition in my kids' sandwiches.
