We are definitely a "pancake family". Kids love having pancakes numerous times a week. Sometimes it's just a comforting snack if they have been having a rough day. So recently we made a discovery that has been working really well for us - Pancake dippers with yogurt. We all are in love with them being so easy to grab and snack on. The best part about it is that it's the yogurt we dip into. Much better than syrups and it has more nutrition.

Pancake Dippers
You can basically use your favorite pancake recipe, just modify the shape of the pancakes.
This our pancake recipe:
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups of flour of your choice
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1tsp salt
- 2 cups buttermilk
- some oil for the pan
- Yogurt as a dip for pancakes. We use Yoplait wholesome yogurt.
We went to Walmart and picked out our favorite flavor - strawberry.
Instructions:
Beat eggs until frothy. Add buttermilk, melted butter and mix well. Add flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt and mix until well blended. Grease your pan/griddle and using a spoon pour some batter onto the griddle to form a long and thin pancake - "dipper". Keep in mind that it will expand while cooking, so leave some space between each other if you are cooking few pancakes at a time on the griddle.
My kids love eating these pancake dippers even when they are cold. It's a perfect match with the Yoplait yogurt.
These pancake dippers became the favorite snack which can be grabbed with those little hands, dipped in the sauce right in the backyard, even at the park while playing.
Hope your family will love these pancake dippers with yogurt dip as much as my family does.
