4 people (out of 5) have sweet tooth in our family, so making a treat for Valentine's Day is essential. I decided to "mix up a moment" by making it easy and fun: it was easy for me to make the brownies and it was fun for kids to decorate them.

Knowing there will be few occasions this month I stocked up on Pillsbury™ Brownie Mix and Frosting last week when I was at Walmart. I am so glad I did, because with the newborn at home I am grateful for any minute saved.
In fact, we have enjoyed football brownies too much on the Game Day, we decided to make Valentine's Day brownies. With the special twist.
While I was making the brownies (it's easy, just follow instructions on the box. You will only need to add oil, water and egg) kids were busy preparing the decorations for them. The little hearts looked so festive and added a nice touch to the brownies. You can print the hearts too if you like them. Kids cut the hearts out and taped it to the wooden kebab sticks (that we cut in half).
As if you need convincing here some reasons why these brownies are perfect Valentine's Day treats:
- Obvious reason - it has lots of chocolate.
- It takes just few minutes to make it so you don't have to spend valuable time in the kitchen instead of hanging our with your lovely family.
- It's very party friendly. Especially with the hearts on top.
- It's rich and fulfilling, so most likely you will have leftovers for tomorrow.
You too should stock up and save at Walmart on Pillsbury products. If you need some more inspiration this Pinterest board has it all.
