Spontaneous Adventures Powered By Ginger Tea Recipe

There are few things I adore about winter. Snow is one of them (if we get it) and those cozy 'warmish' days when you get to enjoy outside after being indoors for days. Those are golden. We had one yesterday which turned into "Winter adventure, powered by Spicy Ginger Tea Recipe adopted for kids' taste."

Ginger tea cooking outdoor near lake..

If you saw our family vision board, you probably noticed that this year we made plans to travel. Even if it means just around the corner. We also wished to be more spontaneous. It's a challenge we kids, but we are up for it!

So when the sun hit noon yesterday, we decided to go drink tea. Anywhere beautiful and the place we haven't been to yet.

So we drove and drove and then we stopped for a quick snack and asked around in a local village for a nice place to drink tea. We were lucky. Very lucky.

Why this should be your GO-TO TEA during winter

ginger helps to promote healthy sweating, which is often helpful during colds and flu season. Also is creating some immune boosting action.

lemon essential oil. Lemon consists of 68 percent dlimonene, which is a powerful antioxidant. Also it improves your mood (which is very needed during winter days) and of course boosts your immune system.

apples are extremely rich in important antioxidants, flavanoids, and dietary fiber. We all know they are healthy.

cinnamon  - helps to improve circulation, increases metabolism (great for those lazy days at home), it has a warming effect. It also fights infections though it's anti-microbial and anti viral activity.

honey - is anti-bacterial. It can reduce cough and throat irritation.

peppercorn include relief from respiratory disorders, coughs, the common cold, constipation, indigestion. It is also a very good anti-inflammatory agent.

cardamon has a lot of health benefits. This pungent spice may help prevent and relieve cold and flu symptoms. It’s also used for bronchitis and coughs.

This ginger tea recipe is very customizable. We have tried many variations of it and we like this particular one (described above) the best. Adding a lot of apples makes it 'kid friendly', yet zesty enough for adults to drink.

I hope I got your taste buts tingling enough to make your own ginger tea.
